Samira Arhin-Achquah

Samira Arhin-Achquah aka Lucid is an MC, spoken word artist, actor and workshop facilitator. As a wordsmith and lyricist, Samira has been taught and mentored by the likes of Motley, Baba Israel, Will Power, Queen Godis and Tavi. As an actor she has performed in productions directed by John E McGrath, Shabina Aslam & Leo Kay, and Rikki Beadle Blair. As a passionate and committed community artist (with a degree in Sociology) Samira has facilitated workshop projects for Contact, Community Arts Northwest, Queer Up North and her own project ‘Just Jam’ commissioned by Future Fires.
